S
aturday April 28th, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm., South Hill, inside fence

This is our last event inside the pool fence.  The view of the pool is fantastic from there!   Come have fun while you help these beloved trees.  We will be applying compost to the trees up the hill, in the flat area near the south fence.   Our volunteers have lots of fun and enjoy meeting new friends.  The work is easy and it will help these trees survive the drought.  All are welcome, individuals and groups.  However, the BSP South Hill is a sensitive area, so this event is restricted to high school students and adults that will follow instructions, to minimize erosion on the hill.  We'll provide the tools and snacks.  Please, bring your gloves and a water bottle if you can.  Wear closed toe shoes.  Dress for the weather.

Meet us at the south gate of Barton Springs Pool (click here for map and higher view map):

Enter by Robert E. Lee Rd. (near 863 Robert E. Lee Road, Austin, TX 78704).

Updates to this event are posted here, including potential cancellations due to bad weather

(we only cancel events when it rains very heavily, or if there are thunderstorms):

Expecting good weather – ALL IS READY – COME HELP THE TREES! (updated on 04.23.12)

Please, email us at joinAHTF@gmail.com to let us know you are attending.  I need to know how many volunteers are attending to plan the work.

We will really appreciate your help and the trees will thank you as well!
